This page explains how content on Staffy World is researched, written, reviewed and kept up to date, so you know what you can rely on and where its limits are.
Our standards
- Breed-specific: every article is written for Staffordshire Bull Terriers and their owners, not generic dog content.
- Accurate and sourced: factual, health and breed claims are checked against reputable sources such as veterinary organisations, breed standards (UK Kennel Club, FCI, AKC), welfare bodies and published research.
- No overclaiming: we don’t promise results a product, diet or training method can’t deliver, and we say when something isn’t settled science.
- First-hand where possible: where we describe living with a Staffy or using a product, it reflects real experience with Guinness, our own Staffy. We never invent testimonials or experiences.
Health and behaviour content
Staffy World is written by an owner, not a vet or certified trainer. Health and behaviour articles are researched from reputable veterinary and professional-trainer sources and are general information only. They are not a substitute for advice from your own vet or a qualified trainer, and we encourage you to talk to a professional about your individual dog.
Product recommendations
Products are chosen on how well they suit a Staffy’s build, strength and temperament. We aim to explain who each product is and isn’t for, and we include budget considerations where relevant. Some links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions never decide what we recommend or how we rank products.
