Staffy World is an independent website for Staffordshire Bull Terrier owners: straight-talking, myth-busting guides on breed traits, health and care, training and behaviour, and the gear that actually stands up to a Staffy.

Who is behind Staffy World

I’m Steven Cahill, a Staffy owner based in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. I started Staffy World because too much of what’s written about Staffies online is either generic “all dogs” advice or recycled myths about the breed. Staffies deserve better than that, and so do their owners.

My professional background is in digital innovation, which means I care a lot about getting information clear, accurate and easy to use. You can find more about me at stevencahill.net.

Meet Guinness

Guinness is my brindle male Staffy and the reason this site exists. He’s about 28 kg of muscle, enthusiasm and opinions, and he’s the real-world test subject behind a lot of what you’ll read here: the sizing of coats and harnesses, the chews that survive (and the ones that don’t), and the everyday realities of living with the breed. Around here he goes by his official title: Chief Everything Officer.
